Church Affinity Services, Inc. (CASI)

Background

CASI is a company dedicated to finding ways to capture financial resources for churches by creating and building alliances with for-profit entities. CASI is committed to making technology a tool for economic empowerment of churches and charities.

CASI’s business objective is to become a leading provider of Affinity services to the church and charity community. As part of this objective, CASI will seek strategic relationships with ecumenical coalitions, leverage existing relationships and build new ones.

Key elements of our strategy include: (a) Tracking purchases made by individuals and directing a portion to their designated institutions; (b) increasing participation in our Affinity Programs; (c) broadening CASI’s services (d) fostering CASI’s brand (e) enhancing CASI’s web-site features and functionality and (f) utilizing third-party networks.

Webster defines “affinity” as: likeness based on relationship or causal connection. CASI’s affinity programs are designed to leverage the purchasing power of individuals based on their relationship and connection with their church.

Card Program

CASI leverages the buying power of individuals to raise money for their church or charity. Whenever members use a CASI registered MasterCard or Visa card at participating stores, their church or charity will receive a donation. Members can receive a registered CASI MasterCard or VISA by completing an application over the phone, in person or on-line. In some cases, members can receive a registered CASI MasterCard without a credit check, income check or annual fee.

CASI’s card program helps drive traffic to participating merchants while reducing advertising costs. There is no cost to the merchant to sign-up and participate. The merchant determines what percentage to donate and may change that percentage rate at any time. Currently, more than 150 companies and 7,500 restaurants nationwide have signed-up to be affinity partners.
